CUSTOM ORDERS & SERVICES POLICY
SheShe Design offers custom lettering, calligraphy, chalkboard art, signage, and creative services for individuals, weddings, events, brands, and businesses.
Because each project is unique, the following policy outlines how custom orders and creative services are handled.
Custom Project Process
Most custom projects begin with an inquiry, followed by a quote, proposal, or invoice.
Depending on the project, you may be asked to provide:
Project details
Event date
Deadline
Size and surface information
Wording or text needed
Style inspiration
Color preferences
Photos or examples
Shipping or pickup details
Budget range, if applicable
Once the project details are confirmed, I will provide a quote, timeline, and payment instructions.
Payment
A deposit or full payment may be required before work begins.
For custom projects, your spot is not officially reserved until payment has been received.
Larger projects, weddings, live events, brand work, or commissioned pieces may require a non-refundable deposit with the remaining balance due before pickup, delivery, shipping, or the event date.
Design Approval
For many custom projects, a digital mockup or design preview may be provided before final artwork begins.
Please review mockups carefully for:
Spelling
Names
Dates
Times
Locations
Wording
Layout
General design direction
Once a design is approved, changes may be limited or may require an additional fee.
SheShe Design is not responsible for errors that were included in the wording provided by the client or approved during the mockup process.
Revisions
Each custom project includes a reasonable amount of communication and creative planning.
Minor revisions may be included depending on the project. Major design changes, changes in direction, additional wording, resizing, or changes requested after approval may require an additional fee.
Handmade Nature
All SheShe Design work is created by hand or designed with a handmade artistic style. Slight variations, texture, brush strokes, chalk effects, spacing differences, or artistic imperfections are part of the handmade process.
Client-Provided Surfaces
If a client provides a chalkboard, mirror, sign, acrylic piece, paper, envelope, bag, pouch, ornament, bottle, or other surface, SheShe Design will use care when working on the item.
However, some surfaces may react differently to chalk, ink, paint, foil, engraving, or other materials. SheShe Design is not responsible for damage, surface imperfections, manufacturer flaws, coating issues, or unexpected reactions on client-provided items.
If a surface is not ideal for the requested service, we will communicate options when possible.
Cancellations
Because custom work requires planning, time, materials, and reserved availability, deposits and payments may be non-refundable once work has begun, materials have been ordered, or time has been reserved.
Cancellation terms may vary depending on the project and will be included in your proposal, invoice, or written agreement when applicable.
Rush Orders
Rush orders may be available depending on the project and current availability.
Rush fees may apply for projects needed on a short timeline.
